Tufts/BAC Solar Decathlon Project
Developed by the U.S. Department of Energy in 2002, the Solar Decathlon is intended to educate participants and the general public about the benefits of renewable energy and energy efficiency. For the past 2 years, the Tufts/Boston Architectural College Solar Decathlon team have been working together to build a solar house that is now on the Mall in Washington, D.C., ready to compete against 19 other teams from around the globe.
