Peanuts on the Big Screen

Fans of Charlie Brown and the gang greeted the news of a CGI Peanuts feature film with some trepidation. Could computer animation possibly render that round head as winsomely as hand drawing? Thankfully, the answer seems to be a resounding yes, thanks in large part to MICHAEL TRAVERS, E91, one of the film’s producers at Blue Sky Studios, a computer animation film studio based in Greenwich, Connecticut. Travers has worked on the visual effects for a number of films, including Ice Age, Stuart Little, and Starship Troopers. The Peanuts Movie premiered on November 6.
