GAME CHANGERS Four Tufts alums have been named to the Forbes magazine “30 Under 30” roster in recognition of their roles as “game changers” In their fields: ABENA AGYEMANG, A07, national director of school partnerships at Families for Excellent Public Schools; JON FREEMAN, G08, Gl2, an assistant professor of psychology at New York University; SCOTT TRAVERS, A07, a vice president at JP Morgan Chase & Company; and DANIELLE WEISBERG, A08, cofounder of theSkimm, a daily “news-you-need-to-know” email with more than one million subscribers that recently partnered with Oprah.com.

Guggenheim Curator AMARA ANTILLA, A08, has been promoted to assistant curator at the Guggenheim Museum. She worked on an exhibition about the Indian modern painter Vasudeo Santu Gaitonde, titled V.S. Gallonde: Painting as Process, Painting as Life, which travels to the Peggy Guggenheim in Venice this fall.

New Advisors KEVIN BOYLE, A78, the general counsel for the International Union of Police Associations, has been named to the Board of Advisors for Athletics. New to the Board of Advisors to the School of Medicine and the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences are LAWRENCE G. CETRULO, Ml2P, founding partner of Cetrulo LLP in Boston; OLIVIA HO CHENG, vice chair and founding partner of BE Capital Partners in Taipei, Taiwan; and AJAY SONDHI, M18P, of Singapore. BRAD M. MESLIN, F82, F84, senior managing director of CSP Associates in Cambridge, Massachusetts; COURTNEY RICHARDSON FUNG, F12, an assistant professor of international relations at the University of Hong Kong; and ADAM TREANOR, F02, managing director of Falconhead Capital in New York City, have been appointed to the Board of Advisors to the Fletcher School. LISA G. MANN, E84, E18P, a senior vice president at Mondelez International in East Hanover, New Jersey, is a new advisor to the School of Engineering, and JUAN F. CARRIZOSA, A80, F14, regional manager of Latin America North for the Royal Bank of Canada, is a new member of the International Board of Advisors. DANIEL R. HEBERT, V0l, president of the Tufts Veterinary Alumni Association and the owner of the Duxbury Animal Hospital, has joined the Board of Advisors to Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. JEFFREY B. KINDLER, A77, A11P, a Tufts trustee, is also an advisor to Tisch College; he is director of Starboard Capital Partners in Southport, Connecticut.

Human Rights Advocate SOFIA SHIELD, Al4, received the Characters Unite Award from USA Network and Time Warner Cable in recognition of her efforts to combat hate and discrimination as a human rights advocate in the Los Angeles community. She is featured on-air in a PSA and online at charactersunite.com. Inspired by her grandparents, who survived the Holocaust, Shield was cochair of Tufts Against Genocide.

Making Waves JACK WHITEHEAD, E63, J0lP, a scientist emeritus at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, was awarded the 2014 Maurice Ewing Medal from the American Geophysical Union for his work in the ocean sciences. His research has focused on the complex fluid mechanics of the oceans and planetary interiors.
