For generations, the cannon that Tufts received from the city of Medford in
1958 has been a soapbox, a message board, a canvas. Now you can “paint” the
cannon online. The website paintthecannon.com,
set up by the Tufts Fund for Arts, Sciences, and Engineering, lets you design
a virtual paint job and share it with others—and you don’t
have to sneak around in the dead of night with all those cumbersome brushes
and buckets and spray cans.
